The Inner Compass Therapist
Helping You Find Your Inner Compass When You Feel Lost
|
I am a mother, wife, social worker/psychotherapist. My passion is being a guide in a person's journey of growth and self-discovery. That journey may involve learning to listen and value what is true to you, developing self-acceptance to be who you are today and growing compassion for yourself and for others.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I received my Masters of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
I worked with a community counselling agency for thirteen years, providing counselling services to individuals, couples and families, as well as supervising interns during their placement. As part of my role, I worked at schools for the York Region District School Board and the Simcoe Muskoka District School Board, not only providing individual and group counselling to students and their families, but also supporting teachers and guidance staff. I have facilitated a variety of workshops, on topics such as parenting, emotional regulation, bullying, depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention, to students, parents and staff at various schools within these school boards, as well as to Montessori schools within the community. |
