About Me

I offer psychotherapy that incorporate insight-oriented, emotions-focused and somatic practices that brings together thoughtful reflection and gentle attention to your lived, embodied experience.
We explore the patterns that have shaped you — how they developed, how they helped you cope, and how they may now be limiting you. |
At the same time, we slow down enough to notice what happens inside you in the present moment:
Insight matters. Understanding your history matters.
But change often deepens when you can both make sense of your patterns and feel what is happening in your body and nervous system as they unfold.
Over time, this creates more space — space to pause, to choose, and to respond differently.
- The subtle tightening when you override your needs
- The pull to withdraw or overextend
- The internal dialogue that emerges in moments of stress
- The emotional shifts that happen before you fully understand them

What Often Begins to Shift
Clients often describe:
The work is not about fixing you.
It’s about developing a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
- A clearer understanding of their relational patterns
- Greater awareness of emotional triggers
- Feeling more grounded in their responses
- Less self-criticism and more self-understanding
- A growing sense of internal steadiness
- Decisions that feel more aligned with who they are becoming
The work is not about fixing you.
It’s about developing a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Who I Work With
I work with adults, often in their late 20s through midlife, who:
You may not appear to be struggling.
But internally, you know something is asking for your attention.
- Are reflective and thoughtful
- Have achieved stability but feel something is missing
- Are beginning to see patterns they can no longer ignore
- Want deeper understanding, not just coping tools
- Feel ready for meaningful internal change
You may not appear to be struggling.
But internally, you know something is asking for your attention.
About Me
I am a mother, wife, daughter, as well as a social worker/psychotherapist. I identify as a cis-female, childhood immigrant to Canada, first generation Singaporean, and multi generation Indian.
As a cis-female Punjabi individual living in Canada, I have firsthand experience learning how to believe in myself while navigating two competing worlds.
I often saw myself as an outsider and did not see myself as good enough. Through my own therapy and journey, I realized that I had learned to abandon myself and not trust my intuition. Now, my daily practice is based on loving myself and recognizing my worth.
I am often amazed by my clients and what they accomplish. It is an honor to be part of a person's journey of growth and self-discovery. I aim to offer a steady, collaborative presence — a space where both insight and embodied awareness can emerge naturally over time.

My Professional Experience
I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist providing in person and virtual therapy to adults across Ontario.
My work is grounded in relational and attachment-informed approaches, with attention to how our experiences live both in thought and in the body.
These approaches include emotion-focused therapy, somatic work, Internal Family Systems, and self-compassion approaches. I believe therapy can be a space to slow down, notice carefully, and make sense of patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.
I worked with a community counselling agency for thirteen years, providing counselling services to individuals, couples and families, as well as supervising interns during their placement. As part of my role, I worked at schools for the York Region District School Board and the Simcoe Muskoka District School Board, not only providing individual and group counselling to students and their families but also supporting teachers and guidance staff. I have facilitated a variety of workshops, on topics such as trusting your intuition, working with shame and vulnerability goal setting, emotion regulation, depression, and anxiety in the community.

An Invitation
If you sense that something in you is ready for change — even if you can’t fully articulate it yet — you’re welcome to reach out.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Sometimes the shift begins simply by paying attention.
