Fee for Therapy
The full fee for a 50-minute in-person session, or a 50-minute video counselling session is $180. A receipt will be provided. HST is exempted for all services.
Insurance Coverage
Depending on your policy, psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Social Worker and/or Masters of Social Work may be covered by your insurance plan or your employee benefits. Please contact your insurance company to confirm.
If you do not have coverage, you may claim these receipts as medical expenses when you file your taxes.

Virtual Therapy

Virtual therapy works in a similar way to the traditional, face-to-face counselling sessions. For video sessions, we communicate on a PHIPAA & HIPAA friendly messenger platform in a similar way to Zoom. We can address most issues through virtual sessions, as effectively as face-to-face counselling.

Privacy and Confidentiality
I respects the privacy of my clients. My professional integrity and ethics require me to keep everything you discuss confidential. I will not release information to a third party without your written consent.
However, there are a few exceptions:

- If you are under 18, or someone you know is under 16, and are being neglected or abused, physically, emotionally and/or sexually
- If you tell me you plan to hurt yourself or someone else
- If court is requesting information about your sessions
